Cleveland Browns Hit With Brutal Prediction For 2024 NFL Season
The Cleveland Browns are heading into this new year having had a season in 2023 in which they registered 11 wins and a playoff berth despite having encountered abounding adversity all year.
Not only did the Browns lose star running back Nick Chubb for the entire season in Week 2, but the joke of the season was the five different starting quarterbacks.
Despite all that, Cleveland registered double digits of victory and ended the season second in the competitive AFC North division.
Considering all of that, one might expect to come across plenty of optimism regarding the Browns entering 2024 with Watson back in the fold and Chubb expected back at some point this year.
But not everyone is so ambitious for Cleveland.
Looking at Bleacher Report, Maurice Moton has given his prediction for each team’s record for the up and coming NFL season and has the Browns having a record of eight and nine and coming in fourth in the AFC north.
To support his forecast, Moton finds some grounds – you can stumble upon the uncertainty of Chubb’s return to the pitch and potential problems that Watson can face in the future in his article; all these misconceptions, in Moton’s opinion, will make Cleveland a loser.
In his projections, he has the Cincinnati Bengals winning the AFC North with a record of 11-6. Moton also picks the Baltimore Ravens to improve to 10-7 and the Pittsburgh Steelers to go 9-8.
It’s really not disputable that the Browns presently come with severe issues that will accompany them into the September grind even if the Browns might have one of the deepest rosters in the league from top to bottom.
On that note, since Cleveland was able to perform fairly well last season despite these problems, there is every indication that the Browns will be at least above . 500 and reach the playoffs once again in the 2024 season The franchise would then rebrand in 2026 and return to the playoffs in the 2027 season.
